“We’re known for our 24 hour vegan brioche dough, and [we’re] officially the first vegan donut shop in Las Vegas,” Stacy, who owns Disco Donut, told What Now on Friday.

The fully woman-owned Latina shop got its start at local farmers’ markets before moving into its current commercial kitchen space, where Stacy prepares six different donuts at a given time, with five new flavors each week. The brand is now branching out into the brick-and-mortar world as prepares to move into the Veganos Kitchen space.

“Currently, I’m doing my Barbie Donuts,” Stacy said in an email conversation, listing the current flavors: Malibu Tropical Dream, Raspberry Rose, Strawberry Lemonade Bar, Strawberry Sugar, Do-Tart, Strawberry Shortcake. “Other past flavors have been Jalapeno Pineapple, Strawberry Jalapeno, Blackberry Balsamic Kiss, and Oreo Cheesecake.”

In addition to its donuts, Disco Donut also offers breakfast sandwiches and burritos (also 100% vegan), and it’s just launched vegan pop tarts as well.
