Earlier this year, VitalVegas.com posted a short article alluding to rumors of a new restaurant from superstar duo Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg in the works at Paris Las Vegas. Paperwork filed on Friday by Paris LV Operating Co, LLC—a permit application for a $100,000 demolition project—represents the first step of that project, or something like it, becoming a reality.

The paperwork refers to the project simply as “Martha Stewart Restaurant.” Snoop Dogg’s connection to the project, if any, remains unknown.

Snoop Dogg’s inclusion in rumors of the project, true or false, is unsurprising given Stewart and Snoop Dogg’s partnership in the 2016 TV series Martha and Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party, which ran for two seasons.

Stewart’s most recent brush with restaurateurship began close to her home in New York City, with Martha Stewart Café, a project with a simple menu of coffees, teas, and “pastries hand-selected by Martha from a few of her favorite bakeries.” Food is also a vital part of Stewart’s Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia company.

The project will be part of a slate of new star-studded dining locations arriving at Paris Las Vegas, including Lisa Vanderpump’s Vanderpump à Paris and a new outpost of Nobu Matsuhisa’s Nobu restaurant.

What Now Las Vegas was unable to reach Stewart for comment.
