Houston’s Hot Chicken will open its first drive-thru location on Ann Road in about sixty days, with an estimated opening of late October or early November, Bernice Castro, a representative for the Nashville-style hot chicken chain, told What Now Las Vegas in a phone call on Monday.

Another location on Main Street, this one equipped with a full bar, will open either concurrently or shortly afterward, Castro said. Still more Houston’s Hot Chicken restaurants are expected to open soon on Dean Martin Drive and at Fashion Show Mall on the Strip.

This news follows the much-anticipated recent opening of the restaurant’s first brick-and-mortar location on Green Valley Pkwy.

The chain, which has already gained a healthy following, is the brainchild of best friends and fellow Youtubers Houston Crosta and Edmond Baresghian. It serves a menu of Nashville-style hot chicken, crinkle-cut fries, salad, cookies, and milkshakes, with sauces ranging from no spice and mild, to spicy, and then to Liftoff and Houston We Have a Problem, the last of which is so spicy guests must sign a waiver before ordering.

Castro described major renovations at the Ann Rd location, leading to a totally new, on-brand interior. “It’s a really fresh concept,” she said. “Neon lights, custom artwork, great music, and our staff is just phenomenal.”

She also emphasized the quality of the restaurant chain’s ingredients. “We pride ourselves on the freshness of our ingredients. Never-frozen, zero antibiotics, all organic, and the bread is baked locally.”

Due to the usual uncertainties involved in construction and licensing, no hard date has yet been set for the openings, which will be accompanied by a grand opening party with live music.

“People are really loving our food,” Castro said. “We’re really excited by the way the community is responding.”
