Daniellan Louie is on a mission to bake something for everyone. Since 2001, the accomplished baker has been fulfilling custom orders for every occasion, from brides and grooms with dietary restrictions to homesick city dwellers missing their mom’s homemade Midwestern pies. Louie has even worked on TV and movie sets requiring era-specific pastries that haven’t been offered in bakeries since the 1920s.

“I’ve built this business around tending to what my client is looking for, longing for, or otherwise missing in their lives,” Louie told What Now Las Vegas. “That’s how I went about running this bakery. I’d prefer that over making chocolate chip cookies every day.”

Louie only moved to Las Vegas six months ago, but the Ivy Bakery brand has been around for much longer. Over the years, the bakery has gathered a loyal following in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and more recently, Arizona. While Louie’s custom menu is ever-changing, Las Vegans can anticipate Ivy Bakery classics like chocolate cake and new york cheesecake to be offered on delivery apps.

Louie’s concept is one of many that will soon open in the “Lucky 3” cloud kitchen in the Gateway District. What Now Last Vegas has previously covered the incoming Picanha Steak Restaurant and Matiki Island Barbecue

As restaurant permits make their way through the city’s filing system, more details about the Lucky 3 cloud kitchen at 333 W St. Louis Ave. are being revealed. Now, here’s a quick round-up of everything we know about Lucky 3:

In April of 2020, the building was acquired by KBD Holdings, a Los-Angeles-based real estate firm that owns over $5 billion in assets across the globe. For the past several months, they have been moving businesses into their cloud kitchen spaces at 333 W St. Louis Ave., where many of the brands plan to offer takeout and delivery services.

In addition to the aforementioned restaurants, the other businesses awaiting permits include Darla’s Southern Cajun Bistro, Royal’s Burgers, Veggy Street and Good Kitchen. Each tenant will open on their own schedule, but it appears that many of them are well on their way to open before spring.

What Now Las Vegas reached out to KBD Holdings, but they have not made a statement as of Thursday evening. The company appears to be keeping the Lucky 3 brand under wraps.
