Serving “cocktails in the briney deep,” Stray Pirate replaces furnishings boutique Authentik, under the direction of Chris Gutierrez and Partner Kyle Schroeder.

Schroeder was not immediately available to comment when reached this week by What Now Las Vegas, but Stray Pirate gets its inspiration from “a mythical band of cursed pirates, who are turned into dogs after their hunt for treasure leads them into an enchanted grotto,” according to a report from Vital Vegas.

Gutierrez has made a name in the Vegas craft cocktail scene having created award-winning libations at Corduroy on Fremont East, Oak & Ivy, and Atomic Liquors.

“I am genuinely excited about Stray Pirate,” Gutierrez told KTNV. “A lot of effort has gone into curating a fantastic cocktail selection. However, what truly sets us apart is the exceptional team we’ve assembled, their unwavering dedication to service, and our ability to transport guests to an unparalleled tropical oasis. Prepare to embark on an unforgettable journey.”
