An exclusive wine-tasting event called “A Journey Through Orin Swift’s Masterpieces” will be held on March 21 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in The Wine Cellar to celebrate the reopening. During this event, guests will enjoy exquisite flavors and remarkable craftsmanship as they savor a curated selection of wines from the Orin Swift Cellars.

The Wine Cellar’s rock setting provides the perfect backdrop for an intimate glass of wine. The ambiance is reminiscent of wine regions like Napa Valley or Italy. Seasoned wine stewards, including The Wine Cellar resident expert Hung Nguyen, will guide guests on a sensory journey through wine territories from around the world.

“We couldn’t be happier to announce that The Wine Cellar is back,” said Rio Las Vegas President Trevor Scherrer in a statement. “We recognize how many memorable occasions happened in this iconic wine cellar, and guests can expect more of the same when it reopens. Not only will we have an outstanding selection of wines, but we are excited to now serve some of the best Tequilas, Whiskeys, and specialty Bourbons.”

Besides on-site wine tastings, guests can purchase bottles and cases to prolong their experience beyond their visit.

The reopening of The Wine Cellar marks the start of a new era in providing guests with an unparalleled experience. It is down a winding staircase from the eastern end of the casino floor.
