“We wanted to capture the spirit of familial kitchens, where people come together to share stories, traditions, and the love for food. It’s my hope that every guest who walks through our doors feels the same wonder and connection to Mexico that has provided me with so much inspiration,” said Wish You Were Here Group Owner Nick Mathers in a statement.

Upon arrival, guests are greeted by touches of green and terracotta, inspired by the lush landscapes and earthy tones of Mexico. Once inside, the 10,000 square-foot space opens to a grand dining room adorned by hand-crafted tapestries by Mexico-based textile designer Mariella Motilla. Throughout the venue, lush greenery and organic shapes and textures serve as a contrast to the clean, sharp lines of modern design, creating a unique space that blends the line between modern and authentic. Overhead, hand-woven chandeliers, also crafted by Motilla, embrace the space with an inviting, warm hue throughout the interior.

The blend of traditional and modern extends into the outdoor patio space, featuring plush seating, firepits and lush vegetation, offering guests a unique, al-fresco experience throughout the year.

Leoncito offers guests a thoughtfully-sourced menu of Mexican favorites reimagined with a modern twist. Its selection of artisanal cocktails are handcrafted with freshly made juices, syrups, and purees and over 200 varieties of tequilas and mezcals will be available.
