Wallace confirmed the news in Friday afternoon phone call with What Now Las Vegas. She added that the brand, which is already operating in Chicago and Las Vegas, is undergoing an expansion that will also include a location in Atlanta, GA.

Yo’s Yummy’s specializes in soul foods like Southern-style smothered chicken, fried chicken, and catfish, with vegetables like mustard greens, turnip, collard greens, and candied yams. The comfort-food menu also boasts Yo’s Famous Mac & Cheese, beef lasagna, and homestyle potato salad. Desserts include peach cobbler, pear cobbler, and strawberry banana pudding.

“As a little girl on the West Side of Chicago, I always believed I would be a successful business owner,” Wallace said. “I thank God, and I thank everyone who has taken this journey with me as we cook together.”

Wallace is active on her Youtube channel, Strong Black Woman Productions, and is soon to announce the release of her cookbook, Cooking with Yo’s Yummy’s.
